FINAL EXAM is a book test. It is intended to be as pure as possible, and to simulate actual mind reading as closely as possible. A description of it's performance is as follows:
Two books are selected from a small collection of well-known classics, and given to freely selected members of the audience. They, or other persons, select any page numbers they wish, for each book.
Without the performer touching the books, or even being anywhere near them, the persons with the books read silently to themselves from the selected pages. The performer then describes in considerable detail what they have just read - not just a word or two - but the overall content.
The effect can be repeated (once than more, if desired), with different descriptions of the readings given each time.
