Doc Docherty is from North Carolina. Doc plans to share a wide variety of close up and parlour Magic that is audience tested over hundreds of performances. Doc is a featured performer at all the major venues like the Magic Castle, Mystique Dining and Chicago Magic Lounge. You might be familiar with his draw dropping Zoso Change or his Groove Electric Switch From easy practically self working to knuckle busting techniques, Doc has something for everyone.
DAVID REGAL
DAVID REGAL is behind magic seen by millions of people around the globe. He was the head writer and co-executive producer of TV’s The Carbonaro Effect, where, over the course of six years, he created and collaborated on hundreds of original effects. He has written and designed effects for performers seen on television, Vegas showrooms, and Broadway stages. His television writing credits range from the #1 kid show Rugrats to the #1 sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond and he is responsible for some of the best-selling tricks and instructional magic books of his generation.
In addition, he is a two-time Magic Castle Lecturer of the Year and the recipient of the Academy of Magical Arts Creative Fellowship.
PAUL DRAPER
The International Magicians Society awarded Draper a Merlin Award for World’s Best Corporate Performer. Recently, Draper has performed at Yale, USC, Apple, YPO, the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Off-Broadway, and the Magic Circle in London.
In addition to his corporate shows and lectures, Paul Draper is frequently called upon as an expert in fields ranging from magical history to human consciousness. As an anthropologist and member of the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness, Paul Draper studies Native American ghost dancers, South American cannibals, and spiritualists.
As an expert in communication and entertainment, Draper has interviewed major film and television celebrities live onstage before audiences of thousands at Fan X Salt Lake Comic Convention during SLCC’s last six record-breaking annual events. Your audience will be talking about their experience with Draper months after your event has taken place!
ERIk TAIT
Erik Tait has won awards for both standup comedy and magic throughout North America, appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and was the 2018 current International Brotherhood of Magicians Gold Cups Close Up Competition Champion. He took home 3rd place at FISM Quebec 2022, the world championships of magic, in the category of card magic. Erik is only the fourth American to accomplish this, and the first American to stand on the podium for card magic in two decades. Erik hails from Wausau Wisconsin, which he doesn’t remember because he left it when he was very young.
A top graduate of the Comedy Writing and Performance Program at Humber College in Toronto, Erik is currently the only magician in the world with a college degree in hilarious and can academically prove he is hysterical. His client list has some of the most recognizable brands in the country including Honda, Macy’s, and Bark Box.

What is the price of the 2023 PCAM Convention?
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes! During checkout you can select shop pay and you will be able to make payments instead of paying all at once. There is no additional fee to pay with installments.
What do I get for my full registration ticket?
Each registration includes tickets to all performances, access to all lectures, parties, and our dealer room, as well as all giveaway items.
What is the difference between spouse/parent registration and the standard full registration?
As a spouse or parent of a magician attending the PCAM convention you will receive the same package as full registration, but must be accompanied by an attendee with full registration.
If I am entered into the contest, do I need to be registered?
Yes, all contest participants must have a full registration. For more information and sign up to compete click here.
What is the last day to receive a refund on my registration?
Your registration is 90% refundable through September 29th, 2023.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds after September 29th, 2023. We will, however, facilitate the transfer of your registration to a person of your choice prior to the event.
If the refund period has passed can I transfer my registration?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket at any point up until the day the convention starts. You can do this on your own on the confirmation page of your registration purchase or you can give us a call or email and we can assist the transfer.
Why should I book my registration early?
By booking early you save $50! Woohoo!
Seating is very limited and we do not want you to miss out. The earlier you book the best chance you have at attending this years PCAM 90th anniversary convention.
