Foreword

This was written to accompany a lecture. I have, however, attempted to make it as self contained as possible. Those who have a working knowledge of sleight of hand should experience no difficulty. 

What you are about to study is not a collection of magical pipedreams, but rather a block of material which I have used, and for the most part, not passed on. 

I would make a request of you. Instead of putting this on the shelf with other notes and books you may have bought, pick out an item and work on it. I mean, really work on it. Then do it for people. Mystify them, and enjoy yourself doing so. After all, isn't that why we do magic?
