Effect: The magician shows the children a plaque with the world NO printed on it. He asks the children if they know how to read. The respond, "Yes." But when he asks them to tell him what word is printed on the plaque they keep saying, "No." This game continues for a minute or two.
Then the magician says he will change the word on the plaque. He changes the word from No, to On, to OZ and then to ZOO. He tries to get away with this but the kids know he is simply turning the plaque around and upside down.
Finally the magician does a magic trick. He changes the word NO to the word YES and then back again. The children insist that he simply turned the plaque around. But when he turns it around he says, "I would never do that" and the sign now has the world NEVER printed on it. Then he says, "Actually I always do that," and turns the plaque around one more time and now it has the word ALWAYS printed on it.
