The Ghost Board still retains the original instructions written by Brad Burt and one of the metal clips holding the red square piece has some rust over it. 

Effect: The effect is simple and direct and has been used by some of magic's biggest and best know personalities! You begin by displaying a board with six small windows. Each window has a white writing surface. Looking at a spectator, you ask them to think of their favorite color. (Note: You could ask for almost anything here and following: favorite drink, animal, number, etc.) They concentrate and you proceed to write something in the first box in the upper left of the board and then cover it with an opaque plastic cover square. You ask the spectator what color they were thinking of. Let's say they say, "Red." You visible write RED in the box below the first covered box. 

Looking at a second spectator you ask them to name their favorite animal. Again, you concentrate and then write something (no one can see what you write) on the top middle square and cover it also. Asking the spectator what animal they thought of, you write the answer in the bottom middle box. Let's say BEAR. 

You now go to a third spectator and ask that they select a playing card from a deck of cards. They do and show it to the rest of the audience. You concentrate and then write something in the last top box and cover it with the last plastic square. Requesting that the spectator tell you the name of the selected card, you write that name in the last open box. 

Now, for the finale. Recapping what has happened you point out the fairness of the procedure! You then turn the board towards the audience and point to the first item listed on what will now be your right. It is the color RED. You remove the cover on the box above and the color that you wrote BEFORE THE SPECTATOR IDENTIFIED THEIR SELECTION IS THE COLOR RED!!! You repeat this procedure for the last two selections and find that you had accurately read the minds of all three spectators! This is a stunning and powerful effect.
