Performer shows a metal bottle with a hole in it. A steel ball just fits in the hole. A spectator is invited to place the ball in the hole, and turn the bottle over. The steel ball drops out of the hole as one would expect. However, when the performer places the ball in the hole and inverts the bottle, the ball remains in the hole, defying the laws of gravity, and drops out only when the performer wishes. Everything can be thoroughly examined, and there seems no apparent way the steel ball could stay in the hole when the bottle is inverted.
