Here’s a great trick for school shows, or even a kid’s party, for it teaches the virtues of obeying the traffic light. Three large cards, approximately 9″ tall, are shown, front and back, with colors of the traffic light (red, green and amber). One of the three colors is made to disappear by placing it in a large envelope or paper bag.
The kids will scream as they think the vanished card is actually hidden in the bag. However, the magician produces a card, which has printed on it in bold type WRONG. Of course everyone thinks the other side is the vanished color, but when you turn it around after much comedy by-play, the card reads: WRONG AGAIN!
