A packet of cards, each bearing the picture of an animal, is shown. The packet is turned face down and the spectator is asked to venture a guess as to what animal is depicted on the top card. The performer then writes the name of the animal the spectator says on the back of the card and requests the spectator to sign their name next to their guess. The card is removed from the packet and turned face up to show that the spectator's guess was incorrect. All turns out well, however, as the magician snaps his fingers and turns over the card again to show that the written guess is now correct. The card can now be handed out as a magical souvenir.
