Effect: A thumb tack is shown and put on the table. A card is selected and "marked" by placing a sticker on its back. The tack is pushed through the center of the empty card box. Half the deck is placed under the card box, the other half on top. The performer pulls out the card box and there is now a card impaled to it by the thumb tack. The card is removed and shown to be the selected card. Tack and card are tossed on the table (and may be examined by the spectator). Easy to perform and extremely visual.
